Dr Roger Tepe PhD, Associate Professor/Dean of Research and Development at the Logan College research facility in Chesterfield MO., lead the research team. The focus of the study was to measure and analyze the prolonged fatigue effects of sitting in an automotive seat to the lower paraspinal muscles. The measures were taken over two 3-hour testing periods using surface EMG technology and comparing the effects on the fatigue rates of the muscles while seated in a static seat versus a seat with the CMT motion technology. A study summary is available upon request.
